Many years ago, I turned a too large jersey knit sweater into a blazer. I used my basic Victorian bodice pattern as pattern. So my jersey knit blazer has the typical sloping shoulders of Victorian bodices. It also has princess seams at the back. The blazer is closed with a faux metal button. I used white cotton canvas and white aida cloth. Here you’ll find the tutorial for a cute ruffled tote bag. My bag is a small bag, so it has just two ruffles. And instead of zigzagging the edges, I crocheted around the edges of the ruffles with blue cotton yarn. The bag is closed with a wood button and yarn button loop.
