This naturally green pudding is colored with homegrown wheatgrass! The pudding tastes a bit like matcha pudding but it’s much cheaper – matcha powder is so expensive! Wheatgrass has many health benefits: it’s an excellent source of chlorophyll, vitamin A, C and E. Wheatgrass is a natural antioxidant and detoxifier, it cleanses the liver and blood.
Growing wheatgrass at home is easy and fun too!
After about 10 days the wheatgrass is ready to harvest. Now you can turn it into wheatgrass juice.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups soy milk
- 1/4 cup fresh wheatgrass juice
- 2 tbsp homemade vanilla sugar
- 5 tbsp cornstarch
Stir together all ingredients and bring it to a boil. While constantly stirring cook the naturally green pudding until it thickens.
Please pin the recipe!
This is such a good-looking dessert! I love how the wheatgrass juice made the color so lovely! I bet it tastes yummy, too! Thanks for sharing at Fiesta Friday party!

Thanks for pinning, Laura!
That’s pretty cool, Lina, growing your own wheatgrass and using it as a natural coloring. I’ll have to give it a try.
Thanks so much, Angie!
