You’ll need:
- onion skins
- brown or white eggs
- cooking pot
Fill the cooking pot about half-full with onion skins. Add water; and cook for 20 – 30 minutes.
Now add the raw eggs and cook for 10 minutes. Then remove the eggs from the dye solution.
The red brown eggs in the photo were brown eggs, while the rather orange eggs were white eggs.
Now you can use the dye solution to dye some fabric or yarn.
