What Type Of Straw Should I Use For The Straw Bunny?

This DIY pom pom bunny is very easy and fast to make with straw or raffia. And it looks so cute!

You’ll Need:

  • straw (or raffia)
  • natural twine
  • scissors

1. Soak the straw in water until you can bend the straw without it breaking. This can take a couple of hours or even days.

2. Make a small and a large pom pom with straw. Because even soaked straw is relatively stiff, you have to shape the straw pom pom more than a yarn pom pom. Let the straw pom poms dry overnight.
