Mini pom poms are a great way to use up yarn scraps! 😀
You’ll need:
- yarn
- fork
- scissor
Wrap yarn around a fork.
Wrap a short piece of yarn around the middle of the pom pom and tie a square knot. Remove from the fork and tie another square knot to secure the pom pom.
Now cut the loops with a scissor.
And trim the pom poms till they’re round.
What a great “invention”!!!
Thank you! 😀
i don’t usually like making pom poms but this looks so easy I’ll have to give it a try!

These are adorable little embellishments. Do you prefer a particular weight of wool?
Thanks, Leanna! I usually use leftover yarn for pom poms. Here I used cotton yarn but fluffy, non-natural sock wool makes better pom poms.
Your pom poms are adorable I can’t wait to make some
Thanks, Amber!
