Grow your own Easter grass this Easter!
Materials:
- wheat seeds
- planting pots
- soil
- water
Soak the wheat seeds in water overnight. Fill some plant pots with soil, spread the wheat seeds and wet the soil slightly. Keep your easter grass on a warm, sunny place indoors, and keep the soil moist.
After some days, the easter grass begins to sprout. Now you can place the grass outdoors for some hours during the day.
Usually after 10-12 days the Easter grass is long enough.
After Easter, you can make wheatgrass juice, or feed your guinea pigs and rabbits with the Easter grass – they like it a lot! 🙂
I usually grow grass every year. Sometimes I just plant regular grass in pots. Both work really well. Didn’t do it this year. First time in over 10 years. I’m missing it! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Wow the difference in soaking and not soaking is amazing. Great tip, thanks.
