Many years ago, I turned a too large jersey knit sweater into a blazer. I used my basic Victorian bodice pattern as pattern. So my jersey knit blazer has the typical sloping shoulders of Victorian bodices. It also has princess seams at the back. The blazer is closed with a faux metal button.
I also crocheted the lace skirt. I used gray wool yarn: Some wool yarn is soft but this wool is rather scratchy. It’s the same yarn which I also used for my Victorian scarf. I’m wearing the skirt over a shiny gray rayon skirt.
And here you’ll find my tutorial on how to turn a tablecloth into a crochet lace skirt
This outfit is soooo cute! And that skirt! I have pinned it for inspiration because I love it 🙂
Thanks for pinning, Alexandra! 🙂
