A while ago I made my own no-sew reusable makeup remover pads and I love them! 😀 Reusable makeup cleansing pads are so easy to make, cheap and eco-friendly. And they’re a great way to reuse old T-shirts or use up jersey knit scraps.
You’ll need:
- old T-shirt or jersey knit fabric
- scissor
Jersey knit fabric doesn’t fray, so it isn’t necessary to finish the raw edges. Just cut the T-shirt into small rectangles. And that’s it! 😀
They’re so soft! You can use DIY reusable makeup pads to remove makeup – I use the oil cleansing method – and to apply toner.
Wash the reusable makeup remover wipes with towels etc. in the washing machine.
That’s a great idea Lina and makeup removal towels are getting so expensive now too. It’s so much better to use what you’ve already got
Thanks, Michelle! 🙂
Another great idea, Lina! Thanks for sharing @Vintage Charm!
Thanks, Cecilia!
I use Liz Earle cleaners which they suggest you use with muslin cloths. They are great for washing and reusing over and over but some are getting a bit holey. I’ll definitely try making my own now, thanks.
Thanks for stopping by, Julie!
Such a great little idea. You could even cut them into cute hearts or cupcake shapes. So much better than ruining faceclothes. Thanks for the idea.
Thanks, Leanna! Yes, heart shapes etc. would be cute! 🙂
