I love spring crafts with fresh moss! On our walk yesterday we gathered some moss to make these moss pots for Easter. Aren’t they beautiful? The moss looks so soft and velvety.
You’ll need:
- fresh living moss *
- pots
- potting soil
* Gather fresh moss in your garden or the woods where it is allowed. You can also buy fresh living moss.
Fill the pots with potting soil and moisten the soil with water.
Mold the soil so that the top is rounded. Cover the soil with moss and press the moss firmly onto the soil. Keep the moss pots in a shady spot indoors. Using a spray bottle, spray the moss from time to time with water.
Great idea and great (hostess) gift. Visiting from Thrifty Thursday.
Thanks, Victoria!
These are so cute. I am definitely going to try these. I love the one in the white pot.
