A simple men’s button-down shirt refashion!
I love to turn old men’s shirts into tops and blouses for me. This one had yellow armpit stains but I liked the pale blue color. Therefore I decided to refashion it into a blouse!

The Pattern
I used a basic blouse pattern for my men’s button-down shirt refashion. The pattern is self-drafted to my measurements. However, you could also use a well-fitting top or blouse as pattern. I placed the pattern so that I could cut away the yellow stains!
Turquoise Facings
I used turquoise cotton fabric from my stash to finish all raw edges with visible facings. I love that the turquoise adds a pop of color to the pale blue shirt.
Side Panel
I also added a turquoise accent stripe at the sides for a sportive look. Adding a side panel to shirts is also a great way to make too small shirts bigger!
Refashioned Denim Skirt
Here I’m wearing the upcycled shirt with my refashioned denim skirt.
