It’s very easy to make your own stamps with things you already have in your home. You’ll just need two things: corks and craft foam. You can use your DIY stamps to print on paper or fabric.
Related: How to print fabric
You’ll need:
- corks
- craft foam
- pencil
- scissor
- glue
Draw a heart (or any other shape) onto the craft foam. Cut out the shape. Glue the craft foam heart to the cork. Wait some minutes till the glue has dried and your DIY cork stamp is ready to use! Use acrylic paints or watercolors to print on paper, and fabric or silk paints to print on fabric. You can also make your own natural printing inks, for example with red cabbage, red cabbage & baking soda, horse chestnut leaves or DIY iron liquor. I printed a piece of white cotton with pink fabric paint.

Yes, corks are really useful. And one can easily make different cork stamps: polka dots, flowers, a leaf border …
What a cute idea… I am going to share this with my girlfriend who runs a daycare. This could be hours of fun not only making the stamps but using them.
Thanks, Alisa! I’m glad you like it!
This will be great for my almost 2yo. Thanks!

This is so much better than potato stamping! And for those who love wine, haha! Plus we always have foam lying around in craft bins. Very creative!
