I’ve sewn a black and white hat for next summer! 😀 I wanted a black and white striped sunhat for a long time – which looked pretty, was washable and crushable – and I couldn’t find one which I liked. So I finally decided that I would make it myself! 😉

I used black and white polyester ribbon which I sewed together by hand with black and white thread in the shape of a 1920s cloche hat. I used a combination of running and back stitches, each row gathering the ribbon more or less to shape the hat.
