#artdecoapril is a month-long instagram challenge for the art deco period (the 1920s & 1930s).
How do I participate?
To participate, post a photo inspired by the daily prompt and tag @lina_sewhistorically and #artdecoapril. You can pick anything from the art deco period (1920s & 1930s): handmade 1920s/ 1930s dresses and accessories, original garments, makeup & hairstyles, recipes, history tidbits, paintings, photographs, movies … You can interpret the daily prompt in any way you like.

When does the #artdecoapril challenge take place?
#artdecoapril takes place between April 1 and April 30, 2018.
But I don’t sew or craft, can I still join in?
Of course! You can post history tidbits, original garments that you own or adore, recipes from the 1920s and 1930s, art deco buildings, fashion plates, 20s and 30s makeup and hairstyles …
Do I have to post every day? What if I miss a day or two?
You can post once a day, post more than one photo for each prompt or just pick the prompts that inspire you.
