Just for fun I dressed up as a Victorian reaper.
I’m wearing an antique Victorian or Edwardian linen chemise, my black wool stays, cotton petticoats and a blue cotton skirt.
My inspirations were: 1857 painting of a female reaper, 1849 painting of a girl with a rake and a female 1856 Worcestershire reaper.
My hairstyle is based on this 1854 painting and this 1857 painting. The hair is parted in three sections. The back section is put in a low braided bun, while the front sections cover the ears.
