Here’s my 1920s cloche hat.

The shape is based on antique 1920s cloche hats, but I’ve used modern polar fleece fabric. I’ve used two layers of fabric for the cloche hat. There’s no additional stiffening in the brim – it holds its shape quite well without stiffening.

The edges are finished with apricot dotted sateen. And I’ve trimmed the cloche with cream-coloured sateen ribbon, and a fabric flower with 3 large satined glass beads.
