Naturally Green St. Patrick's Day Sunflower Bread - Nut-Free, Grain-Free, Dairy-Free, Yeast-Free, Paleo, Keto

This naturally green St. Patrick’s Day bread is yeast-free, gluten-free, grain-free, nut-free, dairy-free, paleo and keto friendly. It’s made with four ingredients: sunflower seeds, eggs, baking soda and vinegar. And what’s best, the St. Patrick’s Day bread is naturally green! The sunflower seeds + baking soda turn the bread green when it cools down.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Green Bread - Naturally Colored With Sunflower Seeds (Chlorogenic Acid)

Preheat the oven to 160°C/ 320°F. Grease a loaf pan. Blend the sunflower seeds in a food processor until smooth. Then mix all ingredients together with a mixer. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a wooden skewer comes out clean. The bread is brown when it comes out of the oven, but it turns dark green when it cools down.
