Hibiscus Ice Cream Float

Vegan Hibiscus Ice Cream Float

Isn’t the red color amazing? 😀 These hibiscus ice cream floats are made with homemade vegan hibiscus ice cream and cold brewed hibiscus tea. Cold brew hibiscus tea or agua de jamaica is quite tart, very refreshing and tastes similar to cranberry juice.

Ingredients:
Vegan Hibiscus Ice Cream
Cold Brew Hibiscus Tea
  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or more if you like it sweeter)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Hibiscus Ice Cream Float

Pour water over the hibiscus flowers. Steep overnight in the fridge. Strain through a sieve and add sugar and lemon juice. Stir till the sugar has dissolved. Pour cold brewed hibiscus tea into tall glasses and add 2 scoops vegan hibiscus ice cream. Garnish with lemon balm or peppermint leaves. The melting vegan hibiscus ice cream creates a creamy foam on top.
