Make a beautiful rustic wooden box centerpiece for your Christmas table. It’s fun to make and easier than it sounds! 😉
You’ll need:
- scrap wood, such as pine, spruce etc.
- hand saw
- fine wood rasp
- sandpaper
- hammer
- nails
- black tea
- DIY iron liquor
Using a hand saw, cut the wood into 5 pieces. The scrap wood doesn’t have to be flat, and the saw cuts don’t have to be perfectly straight – it adds to the rustic charm of the wooden box! 😀 Smooth the wood with a fine wood rasp and sandpaper.
Now nail the 5 pieces of wood together (it’s not necessary to glue them together first). Stain the wood with DIY iron liquor. Fill the wooden box with mason jars, candles, pinecones, moss, greenery, red berries, rosehips and orange peel stars. Now light the candles and enjoy your DIY wooden box. Merry Christmas! 😀
